I was looking into home gym equipment and found Rival Steel on facebook marketplace. After visiting their website and realizing they are a local small family business I definitely wanted to find out more. Andrew allowed me to come view the equipment and I was super impressed. The Smith Machine Functional trainer literally offered everything I would need and was reasonably priced.
Since they are in my area, I was able to pick up the equipment (which all fit in my jeep), bring it home and get everything into the basement.
All of the equipment was neatly packaged, I printed out the instructions from their website and the instructions were clear. I did need help holding the base frames during the initial part of the assembly but otherwise I did everything myself. It took about 9 hours to put it all together; I am sure if I had a second person helping the entire time it would have gone quicker.
This has been one of my most favorite purchases for myself but also for my family. Both of my kids starting using the equipment and the 3 of us are all working out almost every single day.
Today is 2 weeks since I set-up the Functional Trainer, we are still learning all the machine has to offer but we love it. It is extremely well built, sturdy and offers such a wide range of useful accessories. I literally can not say enough good things about this machine.
I would highly recommend this product and Rival Steel.
Could not be happier with the quality, cost, and features of this machine. The installation took only one person (myself) and a morning/afternoon to complete. The features on this machine cover almost entirely what I was using at the local gym - except now I can workout at the comfort of my own home. Extremely pleased and will continue to buy from Rival Fitness!
